Artists & Performers

Discovering Your WHY and Building the Mindset for Live Performance
Part One of this masterclass lays the foundation for everything that follows. Before technique, before strategy, before industry mechanics, this section is about origin, identity, and intention. It asks a simple but confronting question: why do you perform? Through Timomatic’s lived experience and practical frameworks, learners are guided to uncover their personal motivation, clarify their vision, and develop the mindset required to sustain a life in live performance.
This is not about chasing fame, metrics, or validation. It is about building a career anchored in purpose, resilience, and connection, one that can survive setbacks, evolve over time, and translate into powerful performances on any stage.

Part One: Origins & Foundations

Turning Preparation Into Emotional Impact on Stage

If Part One establishes why you perform and the mindset required to sustain a life in performance, Part Two is where purpose becomes presence. This section moves beyond readiness and into execution—showing how intention, structure, and physical awareness combine to create performances that don’t just impress audiences, but move them.

At its core, Part Two reframes performance as an act of emotional communication. Technique matters, but connection matters more. Every choice—movement, stillness, sound, light, structure, and energy—becomes an emotional lever. Learners are taught how to design performances that feel intentional, truthful, and unforgettable, regardless of scale or genre.

He also shares what it takes to build the right creative team, and how the skills of a performer carry into judging, hosting and brand partnerships.

Part Three: Industry Navigation & Career Growth

Staying Present in the Room and in the Career
Part Four focuses on sustaining performance excellence, building resilience, and creating a career that lasts - bringing together two kinds of mastery: reading an audience in the moment, and sustaining a performing life over the long run. Tim shares how he reads different crowds, recovers when something goes wrong, and works with the crew who make every show possible.
He then speaks honestly about the emotional highs and lows of a performer’s life, from the comedown after a show to the harder seasons of a career, and the grounding routines that have kept him going. This section is about longevity: being around, and being well, for the next great performance.
