A strategist, talent developer, and community builder, Ricky has spent over a decade working at the intersection of music, identity, and cultural shift—amplifying the voices of artists who don’t just make noise but move the needle. From managing the global breakout of The Kid LAROI to helping cement ONEFOUR as pioneers of Australian drill, Ricky’s impact is felt on both charts and street corners. He’s also credited with discovering Sampa the Great, nurturing her at a critical inflection point as she carved out a singular artistic identity rooted in diaspora and Black excellence. His career is a masterclass in spotting originality early and building the structure around it for long-term success. In 2023, Ricky’s contributions were formally recognised with the Association of Artist Managers Patrons Gift Prize, awarded to managers making a lasting contribution to Australian music and culture. Having previously also served as Program Director at MusicNSW, Ricky has always been focused on reshaping the music industry’s future through equity-driven leadership and statewide artist development.
